WHAT WE DO
Our Story
Eeqraa Orphanage and Charity foundation is a registered non-governmental organisation with CAC whose main objective is to bring ease and succour to the Ummah, more especially vulnerable widows, orphans, and other less privileged persons in the society. Alhamdulillah, throughout the years, we are able to offer educational scholarships to many orphans and less privileged persons, established and run orphanage homes for vulnerable children at Mararaba, Nassarawa State, and carried out other essential community service programmes such as medical outreach, Ramadan feeding program, door to door charity outreach and many more.
What We Do
FEEDING AND CLOTHING
Our foundation help the orphan, women and other less fortunate break the cycle of poverty and achieve dignity by providing access to necessities of life, including food, water, shelter, health and wellness opportunities, and education.
Our goals are to feed, clothe, shelter and educate these children. We equip them with life skills development to transition them into adulthood and to become leaders in their communities. We provide a sense of belonging and community through creating a loving family environment.
Our vision is to uplift the impoverished, strengthen communities for a resilient future, and provide unconditional love, educational services, and support to Orphans, widows, and other people in need, regardless of their backgrounds.
CHILD EDUCATION
Education is an important tool to improve the status of an orphan child and has been recognized as the fundamental strategy for development. No sustainable development is possible if a child remain uneducated and discriminated.
The Foundation Enrolled Out Of School Children (5-16 Years Of Age) Into School And Equip Them With Educational Support Materials.
Our Foundation supports education programs for children in the classroom and at home, by strengthening the educational structure in communities. We make sure that the vulnerable Child don’t stop learning during a crisis, and we help to keep kids healthy so they don’t fall behind or drop out.
We train teachers as trainers so as to provide effective teaching practices for the vulnerable Child. We also train Caregivers and parents of children on parenting skills.
HEALTH CARE
Eeqraa orphanage and Charity Foundation foundation plays a pivotal role in advancing healthcare by providing critical support and resources to address key challenges and promote positive change. Through strategic philanthropy and partnerships, our foundation contributes to the improvement of healthcare in several ways:
Access to Care: By focusing on underserved communities, our foundation ensures that healthcare is accessible to all, regardless of socioeconomic status. This includes initiatives to provide free medical screening to vulnerable persons in the community.
Collaborative Partnerships: By working closely with other foundations, healthcare organizations, and governments, our foundation leverages collective efforts to address complex healthcare challenges comprehensively.
